Grays Harbor Republicans are setting aside Veteran's Day to honor both veterans and active duty military servicemen and women on Friday, November 11. We are hosting a Military Appreciation Night at the Pearsall Building at 2109 Sumner Avenue in Aberdeen. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
This "thank you for your service" event features a buffet-style chili feed, door prizes, and entertainment by the Banjo Band. Birthday cake will also be served to commemorate the 236th birthday of the United States Marine Corps, which occurs on November 10. Our guest speaker for the evening is Jesse Young, candidate for Congress in the Sixth District.
This event is free to all veterans and active duty military (donations accepted). $5.00 per person for non-military.
